Writers' Workshop for Kids - Spring 2026 Cohort

$90.00

6 Saturdays - Jan. 31, Feb. 28, Mar. 28, Apr. 25, May 30, Jun. 27 (the last Saturday of every month)

9:30am - 10:30am | Dreamers & Make-Believers Bookstore

Unlock your child’s creativity and boost their writing skills with a fun, engaging writer’s workshop outside of school! In a small, supportive group led by an experienced writing teacher, kids will receive personalized feedback and experiment with their unique voices without the constraints of classroom assignments. Our cohort environment fosters a love for writing, encouraging kids to take risks, share their work with peers, and build confidence in themselves!

Beyond just writing, these workshops provide an invaluable opportunity for your child to set goals and discover a deeper appreciation for literature. They’ll learn important skills like organization, time management, and constructive critique—all while having fun and gaining inspiration from both their peers. Give your child the gift of creative expression and watch them flourish as they develop not just as a writer, but as a confident, passionate storyteller!

———

Adults are welcome to drop-off their registered youth(s) once they are checked in or stick around in the café area of Dreamers & Make-Believers. Our group meeting is a snack-free space, so please plan accordingly. Writers’ Workshop for Kids is a special collaboration between Teacher Maleeha Malik and Bmore Transform.
