Adult Programming
As a worker cooperative, Bmore Transform adheres to the Seven Cooperative Principles. Among these, we look to principles five (Concern for Community) and seven (Education, Training, and Information), when designing our programs and their costs.
That is why we have decided to provide a transparent explanation of our pricing model that offers financially accessible programming while also ensuring that our dedicated facilitators are paid fairly.
Bmore Transform’s Choose What You Pay model reflects our cooperative’s commitment to equity and sustainability.
Our model features five tiers:
-
Pay above the market rate.
This tier helps sustain our cooperative’s long-term work and keeps programming accessible for others. It is a chance to use your privilege to pay above the standard rate, directly supporting facilitators, administrative costs, and reduced-rate participants. goes here
-
Standard program cost based on industry pricing and cooperative overhead.
This tier reflects the real cost of running our programs, including fair pay for facilitators, cooperative administration, and host fees. Justice tier participants ensure that our programs remain sustainable without relying on outside funding.
-
A middle-ground option that balances access and contribution.
This tier bridges access and sustainability. Solidarity participants contribute a bit less than market rate while still helping cover facilitator and cooperative costs.
-
Reduced cost for participants with limited resources.
This rate covers the bare minimum to run the program - facilitator pay and basic administrative costs - with no profit margin.
-
A discounted option supported by the collective.
This tier is reserved for participants with limited financial resources. It’s made possible by liberation sustainers and the collective’s commitment to mutual aid.
