Each quarter, we are partnering with local bookstores to host a book club that is designed to bring together readers of all ages, abilities, and zip codes.

Liberation Libations®
Liberation Libations® is an event series that is designed to cultivate community amongst the educators and other youth-focused folx of our beloved Baltimore City. We gather, enjoy some refreshments, and share our experiences and expertise about the work we do with young people. We understand that in order to move ourselves, our students, and our communities towards freedom, we must make space to authentically connect and tend to our needs. Let us build and celebrate sustainable liberation within ourselves and each other.
Liberation Libations® is hosted by the Baltimore Transformative Learning Collective in partnership with other mission-related, local organizations. It is through this intentional space that we create more pathways for the educators and youth-adjacent folx in Baltimore City to find connection and joy.

This session will be part of the Banned Knowledge Barrio, a virtual learning experience hosted by ESTE Inc. We’ll start with conversation about America Redux, virtually connected to students and educators across the country. We’ll play a game together and then end with a special surprise!
